Welcome to Ecofem Tales
Hello!
My name is Francisca Ogechi Okwulehie. I am an environmental researcher, author, and ecofeminist. I am a graduate of Philosophy from the University of Lagos and hold a master's degree in Philosophy; with a major in Ecofeminism. I am passionate about promoting inclusive gender responsibility towards the environment.
Welcome to Ecofem Tales. You may wonder why this blog is called Ecofem? This name is derived from two words 'Eco' from Ecology and 'Fem' from Feminism. As an ecofeminist, I am influenced by the connections in nature that bind the woman and her environment.
Ecofem Tales is a platform for environmental and feminist musings. I and my team of Ecofem Amazons will share and feature women environmentalists on this space. We shall share the exploits of female ecofeminists on ecofeminism and environmental education; essays, stories, poems, and workshops/events. You will also find opportunities relating to environmental studies on this space.
Journey with us as we educate you about Ecofeminism, the ideology behind this movement, and how it is possible for every one of us, to reweave the earth and achieve the balance that our biodiversity needs.
